I am using this page to experiment with using the Physical Web and Beacons. This work was inspired by Dr Nik Whitehead who demonstrated how she was using the Physical Web to provide laboratory information to students at the HEASTEM18 conference.
Learning and Teaching Links
I plan to use beacons to provide educational resources in workshops. I am hoping it will allow me to provide deep links to various tools and resources, such as collaborative documents, formative quizzes, feedback tools in a timely way.
Others use Beacons for attendance monitoring or to provide marketing and other information on open days. See Beacons in Education for more information.
